Didn't even have to make a post or spend hours typing how you don't like the other person's response... What a waste of time on both parties.

If you are referring to me, I do get it. I know how to remove the starter. I just wanted to know if it could be done easily without removing the passenger drive axle. When I asked I couldn't get a straight answer from 22dodge, just a bunch of worthless b.s. and half assed childish insults, which unfortunately led to what you see in this thread. I actually don't know if you are talking about me though, you don't make that clear.

i read thru all the good posts and i see some very good tips as to doing the job. in the first reply he said something about probably take out the axle and remove the starter. i didn't read that as you had to remove the axle to remove the starter, i read that as you had to remove the starter and it might help to remove the axle probably because i personally had to do a rear frost plug on my tbi lancer. i found that it was difficult to drive in the frost plug with the axle in the way so i took a couple min to pull it out and the job was a lot easier. from reading your replies it seems you are a little dense unless someone spells out word for word how to do something. i see trying to be was actually ripping on you and you didn't even get that either. it sure looks like you started the name calling when you said he was an ahole. i can see the frustration that you were not comprehending the assistance being offered so he spelled out exactly what you needed to do including some very heart wrenching concern for your safety. you should be thankful that someone would be willing to put forth that much effort to look out for you. you comments about someones family member is totally uncalled for. your beef is with him, not his family or children, you are making yourself look even dumber.

I am far from upset, and I do apologize about insulting him to the degree that I did even though I was provoked repeatedly. I however do not feel like I was wrong in trying to get confirmation on the issue. And I certainly was not wrong to take offense regarding his actions. I felt insulted far before I insulted him. I also felt like I was being toyed with and slighted when he would not outright answer the question and instead brought up issues of safety and laziness that were completely unnecessary. I did use the first profanity, but his behavior was the first insult. And I still stand by my opinion of this guy as a disrespectful asshole. Barring any further insults upon myself I am done with this thread and it can be deleted as far as I'm concerned.

ps. anyone who's curious, the car has been fixed and is running very well.

he did answer your question, but not in the fashion inwhich you could understand. just because you had your feelings hurt that he wouldn't give you the exact answer doesn't mean you should have started with the profanities and using the Lords name in vain. i'm appalled at your behavior. i can completely support the retaliation for your behavior. i have read every single reply in complete detail, whether or not you had to remove the axle shat, why where you so forceful demanding an answer on this simple 15 min job. what difference does 15min of a simple task cause you to act like such a jerk. and start the name calling? this is a free internet site, if you don't like the answers you get, go somewhere else. this board doesnt need you attitude, behavior or lack of positive input. here was someone willing to give you some direction and assure you that the job at hand was relatively easy and you blew up into a tempertantrum which only showed that you are a user and not a contributor to the success of this type of forum
