I was wondering if there was a difference between Turbo and Non-Turbo 2.5l Cranks. I am looking at doing a 2.5l Turbo build and have found plenty of 2.5l N/A cranks for sale, but no 2.5l Turbo cranks. Thanks.

There are some 2.5 crank differences. the tall block 2.5 has a little taller counter weights that just nick the bottom of the pistons if you use it in a common block. And a Dakota crank will have a removable pilot bearing for the trans.

But all 2.5l CB Cranks will be the same if they are from a car then, right?

I guess my English is poor. ALL 2.5 cranks have the same stroke. Older tall blocks will fit common blocks but you need to grind off casting flash from the counter weights. Dakota 2.5 cranks will have a pilot bearing. ALL turbo and N/A common block cranks (except dakota) are the SAME part, have the SAME part number, and are EXACTLY the SAME

Ok, good, I just wanted to make sure I knew what I was wanting to look for and what I should stay away from so I do not have to do any modification in order to use. Thanks guys.
