pistons and rods

i have a 88 turbo I , i realize that its not the best block but it will do for now. what id like to know is where is the best place to get some piston and rods that will fit my 88 turbo I . i want a better rod and piston than it has right now. i also need part numbers if at all possible. i tried mopar performance thru the dealer but all the parts were NA . i have a rod knock. i heard turbo II rods would work but with what year and which pistons. confused, so many numbers alot of them superseded.

Get a hold of a set of '87 to '89 turbo II rods or '89 up 2.5 TI rods. You can get these from a junkyard for next to nothing.

For better pistons, there's only one option: forged. Any of the TD vendors can set up up with some, or you can contact a manufacturer (Venolia etc) directly.
