checked the engine id whats going on?

Went to Gary's site and checked the ein on the block it reads
0S2.5pc04621 So It's a 90 block 2.5l passenger car It has the turbo oil drainback and the coolant supply in the block. but why isn't it x-drilled???????

and I have found some 88's that were indeed common blocks with crossdrilling in them.
