Well, I have an 89 2.5L T-1 engine with a rebuilt mitsu turbo. Yes I am getting a bigger one soon enough so I dont need to hear "get a garret" or something like that. Now, the engine runs smooth but needs a head gasket which I am going to replace. Should I just go ahead and rebuild the engine while it is out of the car? If I should, how much do you guys think it would cost? I can't get it done here because we only have 1 machine shop and they want the engines to have NO GREASE, AND NO CRUD AT ALL! I was like "WHAT THE HELL?" Anyone got any ideas on how much it would cost to rebuild her?

Thanks,
-Paul

it could cost a couple hundred to a couple thousand depending on the power output your looking for, take the head off and see how much wear is in the cylinders, that will give you a good idea if you should do the whole bottom end.
