are there any differences in common blocks besides the fact that non turbo blocks weren't drilled for the oil return? how about the rods? any differences there? how about the cranks, T-I 2.2 versus non turbo 2.2 (i know that t-II and 16 valve where forged)? my friend wants to build up a 2.2 common block, but turbo 2.2s are kind of scarce out here and i want to know if we have any options besides looking for a 2.2 turbo. also, he is a machinist (that's how i met him) and drilling a block for the oil return is a piece of cake.
thanks
tony
