Are neon 2.0 rods and TD 2.5/2.2 rods the same? Ive read about guys tossing 2.5 rods into neon motors so that gets me thinkin are the rods a direct swap?

They are not the same. The length and the big end size are different.

The 2.4 uses the same sizes though. Thats probably where you heard about it.

Aftermarket 2.4 rods might be a good option for some 2.2/2.5's

Let us know what happens with the eagle rods. This is exactly what I was going to do.
Eagle H beams are available already (for the 2.4) but pricey through all the suppliers I can find. I was going to contact eagle to see if they can be purchased direct.
You can get a set for a V-8 for the price most "sport compact" type of suppliers want.
