My dad was telling me of a guy he knows with a direct connection block, I have hearded that they have thicker sleeves? is this true? and is that all thats different?

Yes thicker sleeves and it had beefier webbing than the early blocks. Similar to the CB. Remember these were made long prior to the common blocks. Also will have fuel pump cutout. Also has DC embossed on rear on block.
Buy it if it's reasonable.

Alright, im gonna grab it, I might actually be getting it for free

I could really use all the sleeve thickness I could get.
