If someone could shine some light on this subject, I would really appriciate it. Now I am rebuilding the engine that just went out on my car and I have since swapped in a spare that I have. Well I am wondering on what kind of rods I should get. It is a 89 2.5L T-1 and going in a Daytona. It will be a high performance motor so I am getting all the goodies together, and yes I am getting JE pistons. The only thing is that I need to know what kind of rods to look into getting.

Thanks,
-Paul

Just curious, where'd you get the JE pistons from? I've only seen Venoila pistons at fwdperformance and no other aftermarkets.

I haven't gotten them yet but when I do it will either be from Forwardmotion, or a local performance auto store Lane Automotive.

You can get both rods and pistons from Forward Motion. Also they sell the rods with the little end already sized for the JE piston's pin size. Unless you already have T2 rods that you can get resized at your machine shop. They sell them with ARP bolts/shot peened/sized for JE's.

You've already got the good rods, just get them resized with ARP bolts and bushed for the bigger wrist pin.
