Hi all. Still in the process of getting the turbo 2 beast rebuild, should I go for a new stock T2 pump of is the old 1 good enough for about 280 hp? Oil pressure was fine with the old 1, is here any need to change here?

Thanks

If you are rebuilding, then definately get a new pump. It can't hurt to get a new one, and they aren't that expensive.

I went to my local parts store today and the mopar dealer, the stock replacememtn Mopar pump is $132, the one from the parts store which is made by Sealed Power is $86. Should I just go with the sealed power one. These are cdn prices just for reference.

RP has one for $70 US. I think it is a melling. http://www.relentlessracing.com/

I have never used a sealed power oil pump, but in general they make good stuff. Not great, but good.
