I'm looking to build up a solid bottom end and am looking at which forged pistons to go with. Any suggestions? Any experiences, good or bad with a certain type? It's for my 89 common block 2.2 turbo 2.

I think you'll find Venolia to be the best bang for the buck. At least cheapest.

Why cheapest? Umm.. Because they're usually the cheapest.

And since they seem to work just as well as any other brand, I guess that makes them the best bang for the buck.

Lol.. I though you were saying that they're the best bang for the buck "at least cheapest" aka most expensive. I thought there was some reason you thought they were worth more money..

Ah. No, I meant least expensive.

I haven't seen any cheaper ones ever. Not that I've looked all that hard, but there was a time when I was pricing some pistons and Venolia was the cheapest I could come up with, by a margin of about $200 to the closest competitor.
