I need to confirm the following ARP part #s as I'm not completely sure if I have the right fasteners selected. Keep in mind this is for an 89 2.5 CB. Here goes:

Head stud kit: listed as 11mm for Chrysler 2.2, p/n 141-4201

Main stud kit: p/n 141-5401

Rod bolts: p/n 244-6401 (these are the Pro Wave version, no effing around here heh). Listed for "Chrysler 318-340-360 c.i.d"

Also if anyone has a good place to buy ARP fasteners, list it. So far the best (price wise) online appears to be carexcess.com.

Come on guys, I know some of you run ARP fasteners (or at least you should). Just trying to confirm compatability of parts/etc.

Try checking out FWDPerformance. They have some part numbers listed. For 11mm headstuds ARP they have part #241-3701 carexcess price looks good $65.. The rod bolts are the same as dodge 318,340,360 but the price on carexcess is huge $111. wow. Just bought a brand new set on ebay for $39, but don't know the part number for sure. 141-5401 for main studs might be right since FWDperformance.com lists it as ARP 5401 as part number however it is for non common blocks according to FWD performance. Not sure why it won't fit common block motors. Hope some of this might help.

Just took a look at fwperformance (thanks btw).

However, I found a few issues:

"For 11mm headstuds ARP they have part #241-3701 " (This is exactly why I am asking these questions/researching).

Nope. That part # is not the head STUD kit, thats a head BOLT kit. Confirmed it with ARP's website and pdf file.

The correct head stud kit appears to be part # 141-4201 (Someone confirm this please).

Now for the rod bolts. "141-6001" is the Hi-perf 8740 type. The ones I am eyeing are the "244-6401", which are ARP Pro Wave (much stronger). The reason I am looking at the pro wave line is due to Gary's recent discovery of rod bolt failure at high hp levels (may have been a defective bolt, but why chance it now?). The PRO Wave set is $66.56 on some sites.

Now can someone answer why fwdperf lists the main stud kit for NON CB?? (I'm going to email Cindy of course in tandem here).

Let me know what you find out I'm interested in ARP stuff too. I think there may be two ARP head stud numbers as before the head studs were too long and now supposedly they have an allen head to screw them in and are perfect for the motor. I wonder if they changed the part number or simply the stud.

I'm building my bottom-end really soon and really need to know the part numbers and also what main stud kit fits my common block. Maybe we should post in the turbo lounge?

I'll run this by Gary. This is becoming annoying.

**UPDATE** Gary replied (in reference to the ARP main stud kit with a CB), "they work fine with a common block".

There we go. As for the part #s, the ones I posted are straight from ARP and the parts list. Should be accurate now.
