How about a little more detailed request?

Brand new? Used? Performance built? Stock? 2.2? 2.5? TI? TII? TIII? etc, etc, etc.

Don't buy one, BUILD one!!! forged pistons, TII rods, cast TBI crank and a common block (or 88 block and forged crank)

Much cheaper. Just find a reputable machine shop in your area. I'll have mine done COMPLETE with brand new Mopar rods (extra touch) for about $1500... Can't Buy one for that.

I've been thinking about getting an extra 2.5 T1 junkyard shortblock to rebuild as a 'spare bullet', as well as gain a lot of knowledge in the process.

What exactly will I need a machine shop for? I figure they would have to machine the block, crank and rods, and fit the rods to the pistons. After that, will I be able to assemble everything? I have resealed an entire 2.5 twice before, but never done a rebuild.

nifty! any idea how much $? i'd much rather buy a shortblock from them than some generic engine remanufacturer, since they cater directly to the turbo dodge crowd and know what's what.
