Question Balance shaft assembly?

I removed the balance shaft belt and plug up the oil supply, now do I reinstall the housing that the shafts were in or just reinstall the oil pan with out the housing? Thanks

Just reinstall the pan. Leave the whole balance shaft assembly out.
