yes.. the guy who sold it to me certainly did not rebuilt it.. because i know it would be done alot better im horrified someone would knowingly let this leave a shop

It looks however that a quick surface hone would clean it up nicely. It's just unreal that a machine shop would do it with sandpaper. WOW.

im not positive it was a machine shop.. a shop
"rebuilt" the engine.. they probaby didnt put oil on the honing machine or any number of things.. but they did not replace the pistons.. as they are originals.. nor did they bore over..
