i had my motor done at a reputable machine shop and they installed these pistons. i cant completely blame them, i didnt know these were bad untill after finding our websites. these pistons maybe have 2-500 miles on them.

Find out what the ring end gaps were set at.

Turbo vehicles require more clearance....maybe they didn't gap the rings wide enough

just a thought

I melted the tops of my hypers. No ring land damage

I have 3 set of bad hypers,,,they do not hold up well in our engines..I'm running Sealed Powers from Gary D in my GLHS right now, so far no problems, but so far I have wasted enough money to have went forged the first time.
