I'm building up my 2.5 with forged venolia's from FWDperformance. THe pistons come with larger .927 wrist pins. I also bought from FWdperformance rod bushings. I believe the rod has to be resized to fit the new bushings and then the bushings have to be resized to fit the wrist pin. Is that correct. Please help me out thanks.

Yes that is correct. Rods will be resized and the bushing gets sized to the pin. Take a pin with you to the machine shop. Although they will probably have one since it is a small block chevy size (.927)

It was 12.00 per rod last time I had it done.

Did you get ARP bolts in your rods ? If not Cindy also sell T2 rods with ARP bolts with a .927 pin end.

I'm having ARP rod bolts installed for the rods also. ARP main studs and ARP cylinder studs. Hopefully that should hold it together.

Find out what the rods are- total cost. Cindy sells them cheaper than I can get them done for locally
cost of the rods
cost of ARP bolts
cost of the bushings
machining cost- install rod bolts/machine big end/install bushings/machine pin end/shot peen/balance

total for me was 252.00 (75.00 T2 rods)
