As the title states, I am punching out the 2.5. Who should I talk to about pistons. Mopar performance, JE, Etc etc???

Also, where are some sites that have good high boost camshafts for these engines.

Another note, does anyone make a tubular exahust header for the 2.5?? Looking to get one for the Turbonetics T3 I have, and would rather not fab it up myself. It is after all a minivan

I'd get the Venolia's from fwdperformance.com, I hear good things about them.

No doubt they are good, but pricey as hell. Are the stockers ring grooves that bad?? I plan on turnin up the boost, but would like to save this initial expense.

Thx,
M

No they aren't bad as long as you NEVER experience detonation above 16psi...

With a 2.5L and looking or high boost, The last place to save $$ is the pistons. You'll spend the difference the first time you crack 1

I figured as much, and I have a big turbo, I am looking for over 25 psi. Guess I will be getting forged slugs

Now the question is, where is the cheapest to get them??? Balanced, I do not care about, as I am balancing the rotating assembly anyway

Has anyone looked into forged TRW's? I know they make good pistons for V8's and they arent too exspensive.
