just curious as to where it scews into and how they work?
ie what hoses go into the cooler and from the cooler and what is that circled metal piece (see pic)
am i right in saying they screw into where the oil filter goes then the filter goes in after that or what?

thanks guys, Justin

i'm not too familier with that one, does it have instructions (i'm guessin not), mine is different than that mine is mounted up by the radiator and is air cooled like radiator, intercooler, that i spliced into a pressure line. hmmm i will look around

it goes between the block, and the oil filter. the theaded extension holds the cooler to the block, and the filter threads onto it. the two hose fittings on the bottom of the cooler, splice into the heater hose going to the water pump. personally, i dont like those type of coolers. to me, they look restrictive to the oil flow.
i dont believe that most street engines need an oil cooler anyway. id much rather have a larger oil filter, such as the ford V8 filter, instead of a cooler, any day.....
