the only problem is that i live in hawaii and shipping would be a bit#h. does only pre-common internals work in these blocks? life would be really easy for me if the common parts worked. thanks for the help.

87 and 88 TBI motors. Look for the bolt slot on the A/C bracket where it attaches to the head. If the bolt is at the top of the slot, it is a tall deck.

2.5 has balance shafts. A common block crank will not work in this block. A noncommon will not work in a common block.

okay so the cranks will not work, is the only option for a DOHC motor to go with the neon head route. can i possibly get the cam gears and head off a t3 to work? thanks guys, this info really helps me out.
