has anybody tried to add extra oil squirters to oil the lower part of the cylinder wall as in the srt4 motor there is a new after market honda engine with them too. I road race my car and would like to try this for reliabilty.

The oil squirters are used for cooling the pistons. It would be an elaborate undertaking to put them in a 2.2.

it is broke I have trouble keeping pistons in it. When running 16psi at full throttle for extended trackk use. It's ok on the short runs.

What kind of EGT's are you running? Sounds like they're too high.

I use the car on road courses like mosport on I don't know if you know that one it's about 2.5 miles long.

Might look into an EGT gauge. Your probably running lean if your melting pistons. Even if they're not allowed in whatever class your in, you could just use the gauge for tuning, and then run the race without it.
