depending on how bad, i had one done on a 2.2.. who have run about $500.. but it was REALLY bad...

i wouln't get it done, its not worth it...

well this is actually for a non 2.2 application. i want to shorten the stroke by .25". which means each one needs to move in half that so that means weld and grind. my guess is its going to be 8000-1000. that is probably going to be too steep for my blood. gosh the benifits would be nice.

you could find a unground crank, and do it that way.

If you get it welded I would highly recommend having it nitrided or some other case hardening procedure done to it. That sam motor MoparBoyy talked about threw a couple of rod bearings and trashed the crank. Might not happen to you but Nitriding is not terribly expensive for the extra security.
