Group piston purchase

I'm new to this group but being a car nut, I am a member of several other forums. In one of my other forums, whenever several members need the same part they combine their buying power and purchase items in quantity to save money. We usually get a discount from a supplier. My suggestion is that I noticed that allot of people here want forged pistons. Generally, with the custom piston makers, the more you buy the better deal you get. You notice that 8 pistons for a common V-8 don't cost that much more than what we are spending for 4 pistons. But since most everybody here only needs 4 pistons, we get raped on the price. I would bet that if we placed an order as a group (sizes would have to be the same), we could get a decent price on pistons from one of the race piston manufacturers(wiseco,je,ross, venolia, etc) and not have to use cast pistons.

Try contacting cindy at FWDperformance, she did a group buy for us on custom hybrid pistons and gave us an excellent deal, well both of us anyways. Problem here is that most of the people on this board are pretty cheap, lol, no offense to anyone. Thats why we have TD's, they're cheap to make go fast.
