My dad just got me a reman engine from Marshall engines, but i heard about places that reman engines use those cheap hypersomethin pistons. should i just open it up and put some forged slugs in there before it goes in?

Hypereutectic pistons aren't cheap pistons. Just can't be used for every application.

Hypereutectic pistons aren't cheap pistons. Just not meant for every application.
