If I get a T2 crossdrilled head to put on my T1(mine is cracked), do I use the T2 head gasket? Or the T1?

AND

What is the stock thickness of the headgasket?

TIA

Unless both sides are crossdrilled, you should stick with the MP 005 (non crossdrilled) headgasket. Not sure about the thickness.

I would say use the 005 non-cross drilled gasket any time where you have a mismatch. The 006 squeezes down the size of the holes on some other passages to force water through the cross drills. If the cross drills are blocked then you are restricting flow for nothing. I don’t think it would hurt anything to use the 006 gasket on a mismatched or non-cross drilled engine, but I would avoid it if I could.
