Cleaned my block up some tonight and I took a look at the numbers on the block...Looks like the block was replaced at one time..the numbers on the block are as follows:

2S2.2PC11261

According to my FSM this is a 1992 block serial number 11261....the FSM also says that the PC should be followed by the last 8 digits of the VIN. In any event 11261 doesn't appear anywhere in my VIN.

Anyone have any ideas that may help me figure out what's up with this number ? Is the FSM wrong, should there not be 8 digits after the PC ? Does this mean that this is not the block that came in my car ?
