I am rebuilding my 2.2L tII and going to be running 16-18 boost this is my first rebuild ever, and want an engine that will not quite, I am mainly looking at FWD for most of my parts, but do the forged piston make that much of a dif in powr and reliability?? and its a stock T2 so its got forged crank and rods already right?

Forged pistons can handle a bit more detonation but they are not bullet proof...
