So are you saying that I can't use the 89 T2 pistons and rods in my own 86 T1 block? I just figure I've put enough time and work in this car. I just want it to run right and be reliable, otherwise I might as well send to the crusher and go restore a old 911. I really don't feel like getting another engine for the car. I don't have an engine crane or the time.
