Ok, I just have a question. Am I wrong to be building up my 85' t1 motor for the t2 coversion? NOW that I have read, I know that common blocks are alot stronger, I am hoping to hit around 250hp with my engine. Its gonna be a t2, its bored out .020" with mahle replacements, and cevite 77's all around. I heard these engine blocks are weak (pre common block engines). Am I gonna be ok with this block, and if not, what can I do to make it stronger.....

You'll be fine with that power level.....no one has ever broken a block from shear power, not even your style.
