Are they 1 5/8 on both common and non-common blocks? Also do you use loctite blue or red to seal them?

Thanks,
Roger

AKA Expansion plugs.

My common block uses 1 5/8ths. I used Locktite RED high temperature. It's a pain in the ass to switch plugs when the engine is in the car.

Already changed them. Holly crap did I ever have a hard time. This was with the engine out of the car. The plugs kept getting knocked the whole way into the block. I can't imagine doing it with the engine in the car. I was going to use loctite red but used Anerobic Sealant instead. I am assuming it will hold up. My Hanes book says to use sealant??? Anyway thanks for the input.
