84 tona 2.2L turbo.
I'ts got about 15 min total Idle time. When started it had about 50psi. Slowly crept down to 5psi when warmed. At about 3k it goes up to 30psi.

What should be my first step besides pulling the motor?
It's Running 10/40 pennzoil for breakin period.

The head journals for the cam were align honed and I installed a 88tbi roller cam.
Block was honed for kb's to stock size and the cylinders cleaned up well.
New everything but the crank was not turned as it looked good.

Does a 2.2L have a oil galley plug that could have been left out by the machine shop, kinda like a small block??????

Yes.
You will have to pull the head to be certain it is in there.

Where might this plug be?

Looking at the engine from the fron of the vehicle, it is in the right corner, closest to you.

Might not have pressure problem.
The factory cam squirters are squirting at all times. Even hot.
I double calculated the factory guage and it is very hard to guestimate.

0-120psi??
Well on startup it is in the 70psi range.
After a long warmup it drops to a little above the 5psi mark. Like about 3 needles width.

Wouldn't this make it about 10ish or so at 900rpm's.

When reved to 3k it goes to just a hair under the middle of the gauge. (straight across) Would that be 55psi on a 0-120 scale or is it less being the 0-5 line is wider than the 90-120.

What a peice of crap scale.

What do you think????

I think you should go out and buy a proper mechanical oil pressure gauge.

That way you can stop guessing and assuming based on the stock gauge.

What per said - the stockers aren't worth anything. It tells you when you have oil pressure and when you don't, and thats about it!

if memory serves me correctly, aren't you only supposed to have like 4-5psi at idle and somewhere around 30-60 at higher rpm's?
if so, you may not even have a problem per say
