I agree with what BFnGA said. At least the first half. I've always associated flywheels with manual clutches. I started out building 727s and 904s and the flywheel / flexplate definition and terminology sticks with me.

On a Turbo 2.2, Vtec kicks in about 2800 stock, 3500-4000 with an ungraded hairdryer version of vtec

Tim, I even had mywife read what you wrote (She was sitting talking to me at the time) .. Her 1st question. What's his problem.

The last time vtec kicked in on my 2.5 , I kicked it in the nuts and I haven't seen it since .
I think it was around 3k though ...
