What grit ball hone should I use for a finish when using a cast ring.

FWIW,

Sunnen's rebuilding book says 220-grit aluminum oxide is the general finishing stone for cast-iron rings. This is for a power hone, however. I can't imagine a ball hone would be a different grit though....

Thanks Chuck. I'm pretty sure last time I did an in car re-ring I used a 120 grit stone. I say this because thats the only grit the local parts store stocks . Anyway, I was just curious as what was recommended and what others were using.
