What are the pro's and cons of the 6 bolt Crank & Flywheel VS the 8 bolt Crank and Flywheel??

ive always heard the t2 blocks had more material to them.unlike the older blocks that were lighter.ive never heard that the t2 blocks were the same as a t1.
