My friend has an 88 lebaron with the log intake (different engine or something) and we are converting it to the 1 piece intake with the old garrett turbo. It kinda seems hard but we are trying for 13s. 18 psi, 2.5" exhaust, some good IC, 5th injector, blah blah. I wanna know if we will have to change the LW rods to like a TII or the 2.5 rods. Can it be done?

I would definately suggest running t2 rods for what you want the lebaron to do. Can it be done, 13's on the t1 rods?- mabye. A few things to consider when wondering if you can get away with running t1 rods.
-T1 rods are better to use in a lighter car
-T1 rods and even the slightest detonation can be catastrophic
-T1 rods have been reported to fail for no reason
-If you have to ask if you can use t1 rods, you probably shouldn't
Another thing to consider is you plan on running a stock garrett so it might take more than 18psi in a stock weight lebaron.

Yeah we kinda had a thing going where we could send a stock 87 engine into 13s in the lebaron. Probably doesnt seem possible, well, weight redcution yes, but we cant really do that. So TII rods, or 2.5 rods will be fine. Its easier to get the 2.5s so we will do that. Now onto changing them, what kind of down time are we looking at? Ive never done it.

I dont remember his exact times, but Im pretty sure Ken Adler has been running 12s in his GLHS on the LW rods. Granted, this is a L-body, so a bit lighter car, but that is still some good power to be running mid 12s on the LW rods.
