ok, my 5 crank pulley bolts were rounded off (STUPID 12 PT BOLTS!)
Anyway, used an angle grinder to grind them all the way and knocked of the pulley. (I love new tools! LOL)
How does the crank cog for the timing belt come off? These bolts don't hold it on, right? Isn't it just woodruff keyed or something? Can't tell it's dark outside!

ok, I just checked it, and that bolt is long gone, so I should just be able to wiggle/pry it off? Just want to make sure none of the pulley bolts do anything else!
THANKS!

yer gonna need a gear puller...one zzat uses bolts instead of jaws...bolt it to the holes for the pully bolts and just crank it off....easy peasy

If it make you feel any better you only need to get 3 of them out to use a puller. They should come out easy.

no, I thought they were originally seized, since 230lb-ft from an impact wouldn't break them loose, just stripped the heads. Iit was the pulley holding them back. The threads just came right out. THANKS!
