Hello. I have my 87 daytona pacifica 5spd 2.2 turbo I giving me problems again. Had a new head and gasket put on in May because the old head was cracked. It ran great after the work, pulling 10 pounds of boost. Now it is down to 8 psi of boost and it is starting to loose a little bit of coolent every now and then...is my cooling system shot therefore ruining these heads? Should I expect a free repair because they didn't fix it right the first time?? I know the symptoms now are vague, but i don't know if i should fix it...i have so much money in this car its crazy...

Join the club, arggggggg

Does it run hot, overheat????? losing 2 psi could be wastegate, hose came off etc. As for loosing coolant, how much exactly? Have you pressure tested the cooling system, its possible your waterpump could be leaking, rad leaking etc.
