1989 daytona shelby 2.2 turbo II

Took the valve cover off today to find out where the noise is coming from and started the motor up and lo and behold I think I found my oil pressure problem.

Car has great pressure when cold but when it warms up, the lifters start rattling and pressure drops to 0 at idle

tightened the cap down about 10 NM more than spec and here is the oil spurt now

Did you use anaerobic "gasket eliminator" on the end cam caps?

Pretty much. You don't need to coat the whole bottom, as when you torque it down it'll squeeze out anyway.
