Ok, this is a stumper for me, and it's a four parter question, please respond since this will help me nail down the final price for my new toy.
Here's the back ground on the car:
Factory turbo car T-1 or T-2 unknown? (or at least to me)
Factory auto tranny, currently with O/D remove and lockup feature on convertor with a 3000 stall built in Kentucky somewhere
At 111,000 miles the motor was swapped out and has a factory style rad./IC combo and looks like a stock T-2. This was in 1999 and also done in Kentucky, the motor was said to be a Dodge Dyno testing motor orginally and is in good shape. It was aquired from a factory backed racer of some sort. It does also say T-III on the drivers shock tower? I know it's an 8V head, but could the block be a T-3 with an 8V head on it? I'm currently asking the local owner to put me in touch with the guru in Kentucky. This isn't BS and the local guy is honest I know him and he know's car well, just not TD's he bought it on a whim. It isn't using a bleed boost or cut out raiser system that I can tell. It seems like a chip run system. I was on the clock at the city and could stick around long.
1. In 1988 could a Shadow ES come with a T-2 motor?
2. How to tell a CB 2.5 from a T-1 or T-2 2.2?
3. If the car CAME with a T-1 or T-2 what kind of auto is it and is it good for drag racing/daily driver?
4. If it's a CB is it a larger rod size then a T-1 or T-2 and are T-2 rod forged?
5. Would you buy it clean car with all this done for $2500? Thanks, Micah
