What do you mean a crank rebuild kit????

A machine shop grinds it undersize and you can buy oversize bearings to match at any parts store!

If you mean just a standard "crank kit": machined crank with matching bearings. Almost any car parts place can get you one. Just be careful, as most of the time the companies that machine these crank kits do them assembly line style, so quality is not always the greatest.

You might be better off having you stock crank reground and buying new bearings rather than buying a crank kit.

sorry guys, I am new to the 4cyl scene and turbo dodge also. I was under the impression someone has a kit for the bearings. I spun a rod bearing last night so I have to take the crank out and fix it.

So I should just have the main bearings and rod bearings replaced? Do I need to have the crank worked if it is not scarred? I am going to put TII rods in since the 86-88 TI rods I have suck. Do I need something different for those rods to work?

Thanks

This site will tell you all you need to know about parts swaps etc, www.thedodgegarage.com
Go to the turbo section.
You can resuse your pistons. As for your crank, if your bearings check out fine, leave them alone. If your worried about your crank, have a machine shop check it out-if it needs machining, you will need to replace all your rod bearings. Replace your oil pump also.

The LW rods are press fit for the wrist pins, the T1 and T2's are fully floating and held in with circlips.

Why an oil pump, you had a bearing failure, it could be due to a weak pump and/or crap went thru the pump, for what they are worth, what $60, why toast another engine for that amount.
