will 2.2l/2.5l turbo pistons fit in 2.0l neon?

does anyone know if since the bore is the same on the neon sohc 2.0 and the 2.2l or 2.5l turbo if i can use the turbo pistons in my neon to lower my compression ration for higher boost on my neon? any help would be greatly aprreciated

Bore for the Neon engine is 3.445" or 87.5mm
Bore for the 2.5L is 3.44" or 87.4mm

So yes but you will have to check the wrist pin height between the 2 engines.

I heard that you can remove 1 of the shims in the neon HG to lower compression by a bit. Not sure if you already know that or not.

not to be rude man, but pulling one of the shims out would create a smaller combustion chamber by bringing the head closer to the block in thus raising compression. iam going turbo so i want to lower it man thanx anyways for your concern.
