The Common blocks are. All blocks manufactured from 89-up should be a common block.

Common blocks, and I am hearing rumors that the "C" cast commonblocks from Mexico are supposed to be especailly strong for some reason. I am tearing one apart to sell tomorrow.

And if you're looking for 2.2 SOHC specifically, you'll need to find an '89 TII, or a TIV.
