Are these 2.2 or 2.5 pistons?
They are from a factory engine. Sorry for the poor quality.

I'm guessing here, but it looks like a 2.5 piston. Didn't the 2.2s have piston skirts and the 2.5s lack them?

Thats what I was guessing. Also the dish in the piston seems really deep. I've only ever dealt with 2.2's and I've never seen factory T2 mahles so I have no idea!

Yup 2.5 common block pistons. Small releifs and square bottom, 2.2 would have bigger releif and like you said bigger skirts. Early 2.2 t-1's had no releifs and smaller dish. Have pics somewhere but my site is messed up, would show what they look like blown up
