Your best bet will be 89 up shadows and omnis, remember the only CB 2.2s are NA, but they can be made to handle power with good pistons and TII rods.

The later 2.2 turbo engines weren't common blocks? I'm a bit confused. My 2.2/2.5 FWD Mopar book doesn't really break things down regarding the CB.

One thing I would like to change here is that only the 90 up 2.2 TBI engines are cross drilled. Yes the 89 TII engines and the 90 TIV engines are common block engines. Also the 89 up 2.5L TI engine is a common block as well, along with the 89 up 2.5L TBI., but just like the 2.2 TBI CB engine only the 90 up ones are cross drilled. Hope this helps.

All 89 and up 2.2 and 2.5's are CB. The only differences are crank and pistons between the displacements and the obvious turbo stuff.
From what you described that you wanted for power, around 200 hp, pick whatever engine you can get your hands on, you can't lose with the older or newer blocks. Both engines will take that power with ease and then some. If you go older, its also lighter.
