Hmmm, i think i read somewhere that these were stronger (89 Common Block 2.5). Now i havent looked hard, but on the headgasket and a couple other things it says "Made in Mexico" in spanish. Could i possibly have one of these blocks?

If there is a large "C" stamped into the front of the block at the bottom then it is a mexican casting.
