I am Currently in the prsocess of rebuilding my 2.5 As soon as I get the Money i am Buying Wiseco Forged pistons and I have already boughten a Garrett t2 turbo 2.5 SV Full 3" exhaust with no cat, 255 in tank Fuel pump AFPR Stage 5 calibration computer +40 injectors, and A Large front mount sparco Intercooler.
If I have everything figured currectly I should be able to run 20 psi with relitive ease, I have been thingking though, Of Running a 25 shot of nitrous, However if I do so it will be in the upper end. My car when I blew the motor ran a 13.2 on 3 cylinders and it was still able to beat most v8's in my hometown, Only reason for the nos is incase one starts catching me towards the end of the 1/4 mile.

My Question is, Where Can I buy Forged rods to go with the forged pistons? Since I really dont want to run nos without both forged rods and pistons

I had my rods custom made by Crower. they are AWSOME to say the least. if you are building a stout engine don't skimp on critical parts.

People have made 450+hp on the stock TII/2.5L rods. Don't worry about it. Have them shotpeened while you have the engine apart.

Upgrade FROM T2 rods or TO T2 rods? I think you meant FROM, so I'd say something around 400 WHP levels. Anything over 300 I'd atleast have them shot-peened. Joe O'conner ran billet aluminum rods/JE pistons and has the fastest Daytona. He dyno'd at 373 WHP I think.

I plead the fifth.. heh.. There are several factors, including weight of the vehicle. I think there's a statement about where they start to fail "without warning" on TheDodgeGarage.com.

Thats if he was referring to upgrading the LW rods. I think he meant to say upgrade the T2 rods.
