just found the part number for the direct conection billet main caps. checked with my local dealer and they show 24 sets still in the system. anyone know anything about these caps ?

i think those billet caps were for non common block motors. i dunno if you could use em on a CB. anyway thats what my chryco tech buddy told me.

those are only two bolt main caps Mopar never made 4 bolt billet main caps for the 2.2 engine

With good machine work I don't see why you can't use them on a common block. I have a set that i am not using and one more thing, my 2.5 common block has one on the #3 main.

Do the common blocks even need these? Ive heard of 400+ HP with stock T2 internals without any problems. Im not trying to slam anyone.....Just curious.
