Ok, I bought a VNT Daytona yesterday not knowing the cars history. It was cheap enough not too care. I found out that the block heater frost plug is popping out. I got it running and it misses a bit, maybe due to timing, BUT with the rad cap off, there seems to be exhaust coming out of it. I am not to good with blocks. Does this mean the block is cracked? Could it just be a bad head gasket? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Head gasket most likely. Take the head off and survey the damage. Get all the straight edges checked etc. for warpage and overheating and replace the O2 if it's been burning coolant.

I'd pressure check the coolant system. You can goto parts stores like autozone and they might help. Pressurize the radiator, if there's a leak into the engine from a cracked block/head/headgasket it wont hold pressure. Then its merely a matter of finding the culprit. Its mostly likely the headgasket...
