Basically I started off with this 1988 TI motor. I ended up using most of the parts from it to finish a 1988 TII block, stuff like the oil pump, oil pan, pickup, seal carriers, etc.

The 1988 motor was "remanufactured" before I got it and has a little tag on it saying so. Well I am somewhat concerned that the oil pickup and pump I got from this block is wrong for the pan that also came on it.

Basically this is the pan that I have off the 88 TI block that I put on the TII block.

This is the right pan for this year right?

Then the oil pickup I have in the motor looks like this one on TU's site

Do these parts work together? Is the oil pump also different for the common block?

This looks like a deep-sump pan for an early block. As long as you have the right oil pickup tube, you are good.

Yep, That is a 1988 pan. you use any oil pump but you need the pickup screen that does not have the support bracket and not the 2.5 pickup. the pickup you need has an "S" shape with a round screen approx 2" dia.
