I just disassembled a 90 common block and found a big L stamped on the bottom of all 4 rods. What does this mean. I havent measured anything yet.
Thanks

No offence, but it means they are junk, lightweight and prone to failure, I have a good set of T11 rods I would sell for $60 plus shipping

This "L" is on the bottom of the rod cap on the weight pad and is stamped, not cast in. They are not lite weight rods, I have a set of light weight rods too and these are T2 rods with the correct number for the heavy rod cast in the side of the beam. The LW rods have a LW cast in the beam.
I have been rebuilding 2.2's for 17 years and this is the first time I have seen this L in the weight pad.
